Dear colleague,
After the success of the previous summer schools, the Czech Immunological Society together with the Institute of Microbiology of CAS, v.v.i., is once again organizing the 4th summer school on tumor microenvironment and immunity. The event will take place from July 1 to 4, 2026 in the beautiful surroundings of Chateau Nové Hrady in South Bohemia - detailed travel information can be found in the first announcement poster.
The edition 2026 is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Isaac Witz, a pioneer in developing the tumor microenvironment imunology and a great promoter of research in this field, who passed away this year. He was sustaining this School and participated in the edition 2025 with the opening lecture.
This event is aimed at doctoral students and recent doctoral graduates, and it is organized under the auspices of EFIS, NICR and Czech Health Research Council. The program features lectures by an outstanding group of scientists who are prominent in the field, as well as activities primarily intended for students. You are welcome to bring a poster (standard A0 portrait tables will be provided) to participate actively in the poster session and compete for an award. To bring a poster, you must upload a short abstract (300 words) with the title, authors, and affiliation in the registration form.
